HISTORY
Five Rivers Consortium was created in November of 1988 as an alliance of non-profit museums, as well as art, historical and educational associations. It held informal monthly meetings until it was incorporated in May of 2003 and elected it first Board of Directors.
MISSION
- "To cultivate broad public awareness of the variety of cultural, historical and educational opportunities in Southeastern Connecticut."
MEMBERSHIP
- open to any organization or individual who shares our goals and mission

- all located within the five rivers of Southeastern CT
- science, nature and natural reserves
